2012 Winter Yoga Information
Yoga is both a meditative and physical discipline that trains the body as it quiets the mind. With practice, students can develop greater awareness of their bodies while increasing their strength, balance, and flexibility.
Morning Classes with Sue Lyn Schramm
These classes are appropriate for students new to yoga and those with some physical limitations. Each class begins and ends with a short meditation for centering and relaxation. Sue Lyn teaches Iyengar-style hatha yoga, emphasizing correct alignment and safety in the poses. Poses are held for increasing durations as students’ stamina in the poses increases.

Kids Yoga
Children can develop flexibility, strength, stamina, agility, balance, coordination and cardiovascular fitness. We emphasize proper body alignment so children avoid injury and promote mental and physical health with a positive attitude toward exercise. Breath control is an integral part of yoga and meditation. Children learn to value their breath. Breath meditation teaches children to deepen and slow down their breath and be calm and inward focused. It is a valuable skill that they can utilize their entire lives. The class is suitable for all physical abilities.
